WASHINGTON TWP. — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Sun National Bank Thursday morning.

The man entered the bank at 4651 Route 42 at 9:47 a.m. Nov. 6 and gave a teller a note saying he had a gun and wanted money, police said.

The man was given an unspecified amount of cash and he fled in the direction of Fries Mill Road, said police.

The robber was described as a black male in his 20s, between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, wearing a black hat and a black, hooded garment, police said.

Township police are investigating, assisted by the FBI and the Crime Scene Unit of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.
