MONROE TWP. — The second man who escaped Jan. 11 from the Kintock Halfway House/Southwoods State Prison was arrested Friday afternoon.

Police were notified that Jacob E. Brown, 35, of Pennsville,  had been in the area and K-9 Ptl. Tom Pacilio was able to broadcast a concise description of the vehicle Brown was a passenger in, and a possible destination, police said.

Traffic Safety Ptl. Andy Pease located the vehicle in the parking lot of Trader’s Lane, 1951 N. Black Horse Pike at 2:09 p.m. Brown was alone in the parked vehicle, said police. He was arrested without incident.

Timothy R. Rutecki, 33, the other escapee, was arrested  Monday, Jan. 12 in Franklin Township during a motor vehicle stop.

Both men are back in state custody.
