WOODBURY — On Feb. 3rd, a Chinese restaurant delivery drier was robbed on Leeds Place and, on Feb 4, a pizza delivery driver was held up on Nelson Avenue.

In both cases, the victims were threatened by males with what was described as a black handgun and ordered to hand over their money and the food, police said.

In each incident, the robbers fled on foot, said police.

After an extensive investigation by Detectives Eric Lokaj and Andrew DiGiambattista, evidence indicated the heists were committed by three juveniles from Woodbury, police said.

On Tuesday, a 16-year-old boy was charged with two counts of robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and conspiracy, said police.

A 17-year-year-old was charged with robbery and conspiracy. The third youth, also 17, was charged with two counts of conspiracy. Their names were not released by police because of their ages. No gun was recovered. Detectives believe an air soft replica pistol was used in the robberies.

All three boys were lodged in the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center pending a court appearance.

The investigation is still going on, so anyone with additional information may contact Lokaj at 856-845-0065, ext. 39 or DeGiambattista at 856-845-0065, ext. 19.
