GLASSBORO — A 20-year-old Glassboro man was arrested Monday on child pornography charges.
The arrest was the results of several weeks of investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit, authorities said.
Evan J. Texidor, a truck driver in Philadelphia, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one for distribution of child pornography and the other for possession of child pornography, said authorities.
Texidor was released after posting $60,000 bail.
The investigation was launched after the unit received several cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which, ini partnership with the FBI and otehr federal agencies, maintains a tip line.
A search warrant was executed at Texidor’s residence and his computer was seized. He was arrested following the examination of that computer, authorities said.
Assisting in the investigation were the GCPO Major Crimes and Crime Scene Investigation units and the Glassboro Police Department.
