WOODBURY — Gabriel Moran, 20, of Williamstown, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two Monroe Township robberies in 2013.

Moran pleaded to the robbery of a gas station at knifepoint on Jan. 13, 2013 and the Sept. 6, 2013 holdup of a woman waiting for a ride at Monroe’s Pfeiffer Community Center, during which he hit her in the head with a gun and took her pocketbook, authorities said.

In a plea agreement, Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Temperance Williamson will recommend that Moran be sentenced to nine years in prison for the gas station robbery. A sentence for the Pfeiffer Center robbery will be left to the discretion of Superior Court Judge M. Christine Allen-Jackson when she sentences Moran on April 10.

Moran must serve 85% of his sentence before being eligible for parole, and will have to have five years of parole supervision when he gets released.

Moran has been in jail in default of $150,000 bail since he was arrested Sept. 11, 2013.
