WOODBURY — An investigation conducted by detectives from West Deptford and Woodbury into a series of armed robberies at Heritage’s Dairy Stores has resulted in two arrests Wednesday.

Sean P. Allen, 42, of Woodbury, was charged in Woodbury with robbery, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, conspiracy and theft, police said.

Michael Otis, 48, also of Woodbury, was charged in Woodbry with theft and conspiracy to commit robbery, said police.

Both were charged in West Deptford with robbery, conspiracy, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and possession of a sawed-off shotgun, police said.

 

Execution of a search warrant led to the discovery of a shotgun used in three robberies, of a store on Salem Avenue in Woodbury on Feb. 14, a store on Woodbury-Glassboro Road in Woodbury Heights on Feb. 16 and the store on Delaware Street in West Deptford on Feb. 25, police said.

Both men were committed to the Salem County Jail in default of $100,000 full-cash bail each, said police.
