WOODBURY — Experience the tactical and political maneuvers that led up to the Battle of Red Bank in 1777 at the Woodbury Public Library.

In two lectures, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, Jennifer Janofsky, Ph.D., will talk about the time before and during the battle, including tales of the regiments and soldiers in the field.

New research and archaeological finds at the Whitall House and Red Bank Battlefield in National Park will be revealed, including information about the participation of African-American troops.
