DEPTFORD TWP. — More than 60 employers who are looking to hire will be on hand at a Gloucester County Career Fair Friday, Oct. 17.

The event will be held in the gymnasium of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1300 Tanyard Road from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

No registration is necessary for the free event. Job seekers should arrive dressed to impress and with copies of their resume in hand, ready to fill out applications and interview on the spot for the 62 employers present, said Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to the Workforce Investment Board.

The fair is “one-step shopping for both employers and employees,” Simmons said.

Freeholder Lyman Barnes, liaison to the college, said there will  be representatives from “financial institutions, distribution centers, health-care institutions, retail, government, and almost every type of employer you could be interested in working for” at the career fair.

Parking is free at the college.
