WOODBURY — Main Street Woodbury and Woodbury’s Merchant’s Association have partnered with several other organizations to present a month of holiday activities.

Starting on Dec. 6 the Woodbury Public Library will start the day with a jewelry show from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Then at 6 p.m., Woodbury will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its annual Santa Parade hosted by the Woodbury Merchants Association. Santa will travel from Red Bank Avenue to Santa’s Workshop in Downtown Woodbury. Hot chocolate, hot cider and goodies will be available.
 
On Dec. 12 the festivities continue starting at 4 p.m, Main Street Woodbury will feature Art on the Spot: a pop-up art show at the GG Green Building, Retail # 1, 108 S Broad St. For two days, more than10 local artists will feature their work for sale, just in time for the holidays.
 
Then at 6 p.m., the Merchant’s Association will join Santa to light the City’s tree in front of City Hall at 33 Delaware St. Also at 6 p.m., Main Street Woodbury will host Woodbury Horse & Carriage Holiday Tour Rides. Main Street Woodbury and Woodbury’s Merchants Association will be stationed at 19 S. Broad Street for registration. Rides are $15 per person for 25 minutes. The carriage can hold up to eight passengers and will travel through Woodbury’s historic neighborhoods. The Woodbury Sketch Players will also be on hand to perform Christmas carols.
 
On Dec. 13, from 11 a.m.  to 3 p.m., the Woodbury Friendship Firehouse offers photos with Santa and his fire truck at 29 Delaware St. and from 3 to 8 p.m., the Woodbury Ladies Garden Club will host its annual Holiday House Tours and Gingerbread House Display starting at the Christ Episcopal Church Rectory, 2 Delaware St.
 
Continuing on Dec. 13, Main Street Woodbury will host the second day of Art on the Spot, pop-up art show. The doors open at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served both days.
 
On Dec.19, 2014 Main Street Woodbury will once again host Woodbury Horse & Carriage Holiday Tour Rides from 6 to 9 p.m. with the Woodbury High School Choir providing entertainment. Also on the 19th,  starting at 6:30 p.m., Christ Church, located at 62 Delaware St., will feature its annual Lessons and Carols. The event is sponsored by Main Street Woodbury.
 
And finally, on Dec. 20 at 11 a.m., meet Buddy the Chihuahua at the Woodbury Public Library, 33 Delaware St. Join Buddy as he travels around the world, even stopping at the North Pole. Enjoy cookie decorating and a visit with Santa. This is for all ages; be sure to bring the whole family.
