PITMAN — At about 10 p.m. Oct, 1, officers responded to the area of the soccer field behind Memorial School for a reported robbery. The victims, an adult female and a juvenile male, told police they were approached by two males and one female, all possibly in their 20s, wearing ski masks. The males were described as being tall and skinny and the female reportedly had a heavy build and had red hair. The victims were held at knife point while the robbery took place. A backpack containing several personal items, including cash and a cell phone, was stolen. The robbers fled on foot toward West Holly Avenue.

— On Sept. 20, at 9:27 a.m., Ptl. Ken Decker conducted a motor vehicle stop on Highland Terrace which led to the arrest of Nichole Mancini, 20, of Pitman, on an active warrant out of Woodbury for $550. The required bail was posted and Mancini was released.
— At 10:19 A.M. Sept. 20, officers responded to the Wawa Food Market on South Woodbury Road for a report of theft by an employee. From Aug. 20 to Sept. 20, approximately $44 was stolen from a cash register. Cpl. Jon Streater charged employee Maria Castrataro, 30, of Pitman, with theft of movable property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending court.
— At about 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22, officers responded to the unit block of North Broadway for a report of an unwanted person. A warrants check revealed an active warrant for Kinesha K. Hardy, 24, of West Deptford, for $326. She arrested on the warrant and released on her own recognizance pending a new court date.
— At about 2:09 p.m. Sept. 22, officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Third Avenue for a burglary report and found a side window smashed in, with an excessive amount of blood at the scene, inside and outside of the house. Police are still investigating.
— At 8:18 a.m. Sept. 24, Ptl. Eric Weist was patrolling in the Betty Park area when he spotted a male and female sleeping in the park. Further investigation revealed Nicholas Sferrazza, 19, of Pitman, was in possession of a smoking device and was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending court.
— At 9 p.m. Sept. 25, Ptl. Nick Barbetta conducted a vehicle stop on North Broadway, leading to the arrest of the driver, Duane J. Moreno, 22, of Williamstown, on charges of possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to surrender CDS to a law enforcement officer. He was served with complaint summonses and released.
— Patrolmen Erik Beschen and Ernest Parker made a vehicle stop on North Woodbury Road on Sept. 27 that led to the arrest of 22-year-old Nicole Griesel, of Pitman, on a charge of possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. She was served and released, pending court.
— On Sept. 29 at about 11:56 p.m., Ptl. Sam Hoffman made a vehicle stop on North Broadway and arrested driver Christina Beckman, 41, off Pitman, on a Bordentown warrant for $175. She was released with a new court date.
— At 9:34 a.m. Oct. 8, Ptl. Eric Weist stopped a vehicle on North Woodbury Road, leading to the arrest of driver Corey Humphries, 19, of Sewell, on a Gloucester Township warrant fir $500. He posted partial bail and was released.
— A vehicle stop at 12:08 p.m. Oct. 9 on McClelland Avenue by Cpl. Jon Streater led to the arrest of passenger Richard Wright, 34, of Clayton, on active Glassboro and Woodbury warrants totaling $1,189.50. Wright was released with new court dates after posting partial bail.
— On Oct. 12 at about 3:08 a.m., Ptl. Ken Decker responded to a disturbance call on Snyder Avenue for someone screaming near the railroad tracks. Decker found Joseph Dayoc Jr., age unknown, of Pitman, wanted on an active $750 warrant from Deptford. Dayoc was arrested and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
— At about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 12, Sgt. Thomas Zander and Ptl. Ken Decker responded to the Wawa Food Market on South Woodbury Road for an irate male punching other customers. He’d reportedly punched a motorist who’d left the area before police arrived. David Rice, 24, of Pitman, allegedly started yelling obscenities and attempted to spit at the officers. He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was committed to the Salem County Jail in default of $15,000 full cash bail.
— On Oct. 14 at about 1:38 p.m., officers were called to a residence in the unit block of Clinton Avenue where a basement window had been kicked out. No entry was made.
— An exterior air conditioner unit valued at $7,000 was reported stolen from a residence in the unit block of Clinton Avenue art about 11:10 p.m. Oct. 17.
—On Oct. 21, at about 10:58 p.m., Ptl. Ken Decker made a vehicle stop on North Woodbury Road that led to the arrest of the driver, Ashley Williams, 26, of Pitman, on an active Carneys Point warrant for $750. She posted partial bail and was released.
