GLASSBORO — A Truman Avenue man was arrested in the Glassboro Public Library Thursday morning on drug charges.
Officers were sent to the library to check on a suspicious man inside the bathroom at 11:35 a.m. Nov. 13, police said.
There they found Marquise D. Ogawa, 21, who allegedly had in his possession 17 baggies and four plastic vials of marijuana packaged for distribution, said police. Ogawa also allegedly had 72 unused plastic bags commonly used for packaging drugs, police said.
Ogawa was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of CDS within 500 feet of the library, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, failure to deliver CDS to a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, said police.
Ogawa was lodged in the Salem County Jail in default of $25,000 full cash bail, police said.
