WOODBURY — On Friday and Saturday, Dec.12 and 13, the Main Street Woodbury organization will host a two day Pop-Up Art show, called Art on the Spot, at the Retail #1 space at 108 S. Broad St., otherwise known as the historic GG Green Building.
The show will feature 12 artists from around the region. The artists will have their work on display and for sale just in time for the holidays.
Artists include: Christian Sackey’s abstract art, Mary Ann Urban’s painted furniture, Garland Hollomand’s character art, Lenor Mirochna’s artful stationary, Frank Sauerwald’s photography, McArt a la Carte’s jewelry and fun art, John Hood’s watercolors, Paul Dicamillo’s positive word books, Linda Durbano’s watercolors, Gloria Stumm’s watercolors, Tom Mirochna’s sculptures and Jim O’Conner’s photography.
On Friday night the Art on the Spot “pop up” event will coincide with the city’s annual Santa Parade, which is being hosted by the Woodbury Merchants Association, starting at 5:30 p.m., and the city’s lighting of the holiday tree immediately after the parade. In addition, Main Street Woodbury will be hosting carriage rides around the historic neighborhoods in the city starting at 6 p.m.
