PITMAN —Police Chief Robert Zimmerman has issued a warning about some new drugs found in Pitman, known as "heroin pills."

The pills seem to be available in Gloucester and Camden counties, he said.

Thursday morning, three of the bluish-green pills were surrendered to police here, said Zimmerman.

Each pill has an uppercase"M" with a box around it on one said and the number "30" on the other side, he said.

The pill contain crushed oxycodone or percocet mixed with heroin. They're being taken by mouth or crushed and then injected with a needle, Zimmerman said.

"This stuff is no joke," the chief said.
