FRANKLIN TWP. — The 68-year-old Catawba Avenue man who’d been reported missing on Jan. 17 was located Monday, Jan. 19 by Detective Jeffrey McGuigan.

Richard Souza had not been heard from since Jan. 5, according to family members. Relatives were concerned for his safety, since he has recently been diagnosed with dementia, police said.

Souza was located staying at a motel in Buena, said police. He was transported to Inspira Hospital, Vineland.

New Jersey State Police from Buena Barracks helped with the investigation, police said.
