PAULSBORO — A Swedesboro Avenue man was arrested Thursday following a several-week investigation into the sale of illegal drugs and the illegal possession of weapons.
At 1 p..m. Feb. 26, police and members of the U.S. Marshal’s Service Counter Gang Unit, the Gloucester County Special Weapons and Tactics team and a Logan Township police K-9 unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Thomas Grey, 27, said police.As a result of the search warrant one arrest was made;
Grey was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm while committing a CDS offense, distribution of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to surrender CDS to a law enforcement officer, loitering to commit a CDS offense, maintaining a nuisance and being an unregistered tenant in a rental property, police said. Additional complaints have been filed for the registered tenant and the landlord, said police.
Grey was committed to the Salem County Jail in default of 10% of $50,000 bail, police said.
