The Fugitive Investigations Unit of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office has arrested three men who were the subjects of arrest warrants for failing to appear for court hearings or other required appointments in connection with criminal charges.
Brendan L. Lafferty, 24, of Williamstown, was arrested March 31 at the Pike Inn in Williamstown. A judge issued a bench warrant for Lafferty’s arrest when he failed to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on March 24 for a status conference on a charge of possessing heroin in Mantua Township on Aug. 14, 2013. He was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department and was jailed without bail. Assisting in the arrest were the Monroe Township Police Department and the Sheriff’s Department K-9 team.
Vincent L. Green, 25, of Camden, was taken into custody March 31 while hiding in a Camden apartment building. A bench warrant was issued for Green’s arrest when he did not show up in Superior Court, Woodbury for a Feb. 17 arraignment hearing on a charge of shoplifting in Deptford NJ on ,June 4, 2012. He was turned over to the county Sheriff’s Department and jailed without bail. Assisting in the arrest was the United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force.
Ricardo R. Jiminez, 21, was arrested March 30 boarding a bus Camden after he missed a March 23 appointment for an evaluation at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment center, a facility for sex offenders in Avenel. Jiminez was required to undergo an evaluation as a result of his prosecution for a 2012 sexual assault. He was turned over to the county Sheriff’s Department and was jailed without bail. Assisting in the arrest were the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.
