MONROE TWP. — Two men in ski masks, armed with a handgun and a knife, broke into a Herbert Boulevard residence at about 7:20 a.m. Friday, April 17 and robbed the residents.
A 63-year-old woman was awakened in an upstairs bedroom by a man standing over her pointing a gun at her, police said.
The home invaders then assaulted her and a 65-year-old male resident, handcuffed and duct-taped them to chairs before ransacking the residence, said police. They demanded money, drugs and weapons.
The robbers had entered through a first-floor bathroom window.
Evidence, including video, was gathered at the scene and from neighboring homes, police said.
Anyone with information about this home invasion is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Gregory Wolfe at 856-728-9800, ext. 239.
