— On April 17, a Harvest Road resident said someone entered his backyard and stole scrap material valued at $400.

— Scrap metal valued at $800 was reported stolen April 17 from a construction site in the 600 block of Heron Drive.

— A Heidi Lane resident told police someone entered her unlocked 2010 Honda overnight April 17 and rifled through its contents. Nothing was stolen.

— Police charged a 21-year-old Carneys Point man April 20 with hindering apprehension during a Center Square Road vehicle stop; the man, for whom there was an active warrant, allegedly provided a false name. He was charged, processed and released.

— On April 21, officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle located a 2014 Ford Econoline van at a High Hill Road business. The van had been reported stolen from New Castle, Del.

— A High Hill Road resident reported on April 21 that someone entered his pole barn and stole scrap items. Entry was made by breaking a ground-level window.

— On April 22, officers charged a 46-year-old Wilmington, Del. man with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop on Center Square Road. The man was served with a complaint summons and released.

— On April 22, a High Hill Farms development resident reported that several gold chains and charms valued at $7,000 had been stolen from the master bedroom. Complaints are pending.

— On April 23, David Shakespeare, 25, of Logan, and his wife, Cierra, 24, were charged with theft, theft  by deception, conspiracy and unlawful impersonation after they allegedly listed a rental property on Craigslist and received a $250 deposit for property they do not own. Bail was set at $2,500 but service of the complaints is pending.

— A 56-year-old Logan Township man was charged April 24 with simple assault and criminal mischief following a disturbance on Hancock Street. He was processed and released.

— Officers investigated the theft of copper and other metals, valued at $1,000, from an AT&T cell tower on Heron Drive on April 26.
