4/29: Representatives of the DREAM Park reported that someone tampered with several water valves and directed the water flow into the main arena in an obvious attempt to disrupt an event. The attempt was thwarted when discovered by park staff and no damage was reported.
4/30: Officers charged a 33 -year-old Pedricktown woman with hindering apprehension after she provided false information during a vehicle stop on Commerce Blvd. During the stop, the accused provided a fake last name and date of birth to conceal active warrants and a license suspension. Additional summons were issued and an arrest is pending.
4/30: Police charged a 22 -year-old Pennsauken man with disorderly conduct and false public alarm following an incident on Commerce Blvd. The man, Malik Dawkins, called 911 multiple times requesting police assistance due to the fact that he had locked his keys in his trunk. To expedite the response, Dawkins informed dispatch that a child was present inside the vehicle. When officers arrived, they discovered that there was no child present in the vehicle, and they were ultimately unable to assist. The accused then became verbally abusive and began shouting obscenities at the officers. He was taken into custody, processed and released pending court.
5/4: Police charged a 26 -year-old Logan man with multiple motor vehicle violations including DWI and refusal to submit following a Rt. 130 vehicle stop. He was processed and released as per John’s Law.
5/5: Officers charged a 56 -year-old Logan man with simple assault following a disturbance in the Quail Ridge development. He was processed and released pending court.
5/5: Police investigated an illegal dumping complaint in which someone dumped various household effects on property off of High Hill Rd. The incident occurred over the course of the past several weeks.
5/5: Officers discovered two men filling a landscaping water tank from a fire hydrant on Repaupo Station Road. Complaints are pending.
5/5: A Camden woman reported that someone slashed all four tires to her 2001 Hyundai while it was parked at UPS on Birch Creek Rd. The cost to replace the tires was estimated at $500.
5/5: Officers charged two Vineland women with shoplifting $535 worth of baby formula from the ACME on Center Sq. Road. The women fled the scene and, due to an accurate suspect vehicle description, were subsequently located by Woolwich Police on Rt. 322. They were processed and released pending court.
