LOGAN TWP. — Here’s a list of police activity for the week starting May 25 as provided by Logan Township police:
5/25: A Bridgeport resident reported that someone entered his detached garage and stole an extension ladder, ladder jack, fishing poles and other construction equipment valued in excess of $2,000. Police have identified a person of interest and are investigating.
5/26: A resident on Stone Henge Drive reported that someone broke out a side window to his residence last night. A group of juveniles were seen fleeing the area following the incident. Damage was estimated at $500.
5/27: Police charged a 20 y/o Gloucester Twp. man with possession of prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia following a suspicious vehicle investigation on Birch Creek Road. He was processed and released pending court.
5/27: ACME associates reported that a black male attempted to shoplift baby formula, prescription medication, and makeup. The subject fled the store on foot when approached by store personnel. Complaints may be pending.
5/27: Police investigated two incidents of counterfeit $20 bills being passed at the McDonalds on Center Square Road.
5/29: Police charged a 49 y/o Cherry Hill woman harassment and defiant trespassing following a dispute on S. Bridgeport Road. She was processed and released pending court.
5/29: The Department continues to receive reports of phone scams involving callers posing as IRS agents and demanding money or identifying information from unsuspecting residents. Everyone is reminded that legitimate businesses and government agencies do not use “shake down” tactics.
5/30: While investigating a suspicious vehicle parked on Rt. 130, police discovered that the car, a 2004 Ford Explorer, had been reported stolen out of Bridgeton City 10 days ago. The operator, 46 y/o Christopher Mosely of Bridgeton, was wanted (NCIC) out of Georgia and also had multiple warrants out Camden County. He was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia when a crack pipe was found during the arrest. He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail in default of bail.
5/30: Police charged a 22 y/o Penns Grove man with DWI and multiple motor vehicle violations following a vehicle stop on Center Sq. Rd. He was processed and released pending court.
6/1: Police charged a 28 y/o Paulsboro man with trespassing following an investigation into suspicious activity at an abandoned home on Center Sq. Road. He was processed and released pending court.
