WOODBURY — Lot Webber, 45. of Mullica Hill, whose criminal history and driving record include many convictions, was denied a reduction in bail Friday, Nov. 7 on his latest drunk driving and narcotics arrest, authorities said.
Webber was seeking a reduction of his $10,000 bail. He was arrested Oct. 29 in Mantua. Police said he was driving while suspended and that they found six packets of cocaine in Webber's vehicle.
Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Vincent Malfitano said reducing the bail amount was not appropriate because of Webber’s history of 14 felony convictions and a driving record that is “replete with drunk driving.”
Weber had been sentenced to 18 months in state prison on Feb. 5, 2013 after pleading guilty to driving during a second or subsequent drunken-driving suspension, authorities said.
Webber’s bail was not reduced.
