GREENWICH TWP. — Two bodies were found in an Allen Avenue residence Saturday afternoon, and rumors reportedly spread quickly about what had happened to them.

On Monday, police posted a statement on Facebook explaining that officers dispatched to the residence at about 1:20 p.m. to check on the well being of the brother and sister found them dead inside.

An extensive investigation by police and a crime scene unit fund no signs of violence or criminal activity, said police.

A preliminary investigation indicated the male died from natural causes and that the woman died from an accidental adverse reaction to narcotics, police said.

Police did not name the victims.
