PAULSBORO — An autopsy performed Saturday has failed to come up with a cause of death for a woman whose body was found Friday.

The 26-year-old woman was found dead at about 7 p.m., Nov. 14 in her Thompson Avenue apartment, authorities said.

She was last seen alive by a relative on Nov. 9 and it’s believed she may have been dead for several days when she was found. Police and the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office considered her death suspicious.

Saturday’s autopsy did not determine the cause of death. Additional tests were performed, but results won’t be available for a couple of weeks.
