FRANKLIN TWP. — Four people were injured in a crash at Main and Garden roads Sunday.
At about 11:11 a.m., George D. Cathie Jr., of Sicklerville, was driving a 2000 Toyota Celica north on Main Road when he crossed over into the southbound lane for an unknown reason, said police.
A witness reported seeing the Celica hit a guardrail on the southbound shoulder, then continue to hit a southbound 2013 Hyundai Genesis head-on, police said. The driver of the Hyundai was Sheldon Schulman, also of Sicklerville, said police.
Cathie was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in MediVac 5 and is listed as being in critical condition, police said.
Sheldon and two passengers in his car were transported by ground to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, said police.
Assisting at the scene were Vineland police, Inspira Paramedics, Forest Grove and Vineland fire departments and Vineland EMS, police said.
The crash is being investigated by Ptl. Anthony Rojas.
