GREENWICH TWP. — At 4:30 a.m. Friday, two women knocked on the door of a house on Rambo Avenue and told the resident they’d been hurt.

The woman said they’d been in a fight and needed help. The resident could plainly see the women had injuries and were bleeding, police said.

But when the resident offered to call police, the woman objected, insisting they did not want police — and fled.

Officers who responded were unable to locate them.
