WEST DEPTFORD TWP. — A man and a woman were arrested in connection with a daytime residential burglary here.
Entry was made into a Milton Avenue home on Oct. 9, police said, through an unlocked rear window.
Stolen from the house were jewelry items, electronics, baseball cars, medication and several pieces of luggage, with a total value of $2,000, said police.
Investigator Richard Penney immediately developed Frank H. Lindeborn, 31, of Deptford, as a possible suspect, police said. It was learned Lindeborn had been renting a room at the Rainbow Motel — which backs up to the victim’s house — at the time of the burglary, said police.
When Penney spoke with Lindeborn in his motel room, the investigator saw several of the stolen items sitting around the room in plain view, police said.
Lindeborn eventually surrendered all the other stolen items.
He was arrested and taken to police headquarters. There, Lindeborn made a statement confessing the details of the crime, police said. During the statement, he said Kristin M. Kaminski, 29, of Maple Shade, had been his accomplice and acted as lookout while he entered the house, said police.
Lindeborn was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft and was committed to the Salem County Jail in default of 10 percent of $15,000 bail, police said.
Kaminski was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, and was later arrested at her home, said police. She was served with a complaint summons and released, pending a court appearance.
