WOODBURY — On Thursday, a wanted man was arrested by the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Unit, assisted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit.
Jonathan Lopez was arrested at his Williamstown residence. He was wanted for a violation of probation on his initial charges of manufacturing and distributing CDS and another probation violation for receiving stolen property, according to Sheriff Carmel Morina.
Lopez was lodged in the Salem County Jail.

WOODBURY — Failing to have his bail cut in half or be released on his own recognizance, James D. Hodges, 42, of Woodbury, remained in jail today March 6 in default of $150,000 bail on charges he participated with a Paulsboro man in a Dec. 11 robbery of a Deptford Express Mart convenience store.
Hodges also was charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia after his arrest with codefendant Brian Robinson, 33, a short distance from the robbery scene.

Camden man charged with sexual assault of Glassboro child under 13

WOODBURY — A 61-year-old Camden man was charged Wednesday with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child under 13 in Glassboro.
The assault allegedly occurred in January 2012, authorities said.
James Cole, who was in Glassboro because of a relationship he had with a woman there at the time, went to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office in Woodbury and was arrested Wednesday. He was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail, said authorities.
An investigation was launched by the GCPO Major Crimes Unit after the Glassboro child made a disclosure about Cole to a school counselor, who then contacted law enforcement authorities.
Glassboro police assisted in the investigation.

WOODBURY — An investigation conducted by detectives from West Deptford and Woodbury into a series of armed robberies at Heritage’s Dairy Stores has resulted in two arrests Wednesday.
Sean P. Allen, 42, of Woodbury, was charged in Woodbury with robbery, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, conspiracy and theft, police said.
Michael Otis, 48, also of Woodbury, was charged in Woodbry with theft and conspiracy to commit robbery, said police.
Both were charged in West Deptford with robbery, conspiracy, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and possession of a sawed-off shotgun, police said.

LOGAN TWP. —The police department continues to receive reports of telephone scams in which callers say they’re Internal Revenue Service agents and demand money or personal information from residents. These calls are fake. The IRS will not call you.

— On Feb. 1, Kimberly Brandreth, 32, of National Park, was arrested on Route 130 and charged with outstanding warrants and hindering apprehension. She was lodged in Salem County Jail in lieu of unspecified bail.
— Michael A. Burns, 43, of Mantua, was arrested Feb. 1 on Route 130 and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle. He was served with a summons and released.
— Brandon J. Ehnbom, 18, of Brooklawn, was arrested on Route 130 Feb. 1 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was served with a summons and released.

DEPTFORD TWP. — Due to the impending snow storm and the early closing of Rowan College at
Gloucester County (RCGC) already scheduled for Thursday, the Gloucester County Job Fair scheduled for
Friday, March 6 has been postponed.
The new date for the Gloucester County Job Fair will be Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The Job Fair is free and will be held in the Gymnasium of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1400 Tanyard Road Deptford on Friday, March 20. Plenty of free parking is available.
