FRANKLIN TWP. — An 11-year-old girl is being charged with making terroristic threats and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm on the grounds of the Caroline Reutter School on Tuesday.
School officials told police several students had reported that the girl had what they believed to be a gun on the bus on Dec. 2, police said.
Investigation led officers to the girl’s house on Wednesday, where they found what was determined to be a starter pistol that was not loaded and was not capable of firing a projectile, said police.
Juvenile complaints are being lodged against the 11-year-old, who will not return to school until the investigation has been completed, police said.

CLAYTON — An employee of a construction contractor has been charged with illegal dumping in Gloucester County’s Scotland Run Park.
David H. Walters Jr., 48, of Gloucester City, was charged Dec. 3 under the state’s Disposal and Transportation of Solid Waste statute, authorities said.

— On Nov. 21, police investigated several instances of wood pallets being stolen from a Commerce Boulevard business. In recent months, 4,300 pallets were stolen from inside trailers. The pallets are valued at $89,986.
— A 24-year-old Penns Grove man was charged with possession of marijuana during a vehicle stop on Route 130 on Nov. 21. He was processed and released pending court.

CAMDEN — A Glassboro man was sentenced Wednesday, Dec. 3 to four years in prison for conspiring to distribute 5,000 oxycodone pills.
Kristopher Williams, 29, previously pleaded guilty in federal court to an information charging him with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute oxycodone., according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

WOODBURY — Woodbury Ptl. Robert Garish will be able to use sick leave, holidays and comp time donated by his co-workers while waiting for the state to decide on his application for disability retirement.
In a unanimous vote, Woodbury city council Tuesday night, Dec. 2, approved an ordinance permitting city employees to contribute time to other employees.
Garish was injured when he tried to serve a warrant on a man outside the Wawa Food Market in the city on Aug. 31, 2013.

FRANKLIN TWP. — A Franklin Township man was arrested on drug charges Tuesday when police busted a meth lab on Pennsylvania Avenue.
During the search of the residence in the 400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, officers allegedly fund a methamphetamine production set up, as well as small amounts of meth, police said.
Karl L. Deriuex Jr., 46, who had left the house before police arrived, was arrested at a home in Monroe Township.
He was charged with maintaining or operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility, distributing, dispensing or possessing CDS within 500 feet of a public park, causing or risking widespread injury or damage, possession of CDS not directly obtained from a practitioner, and unlawful possession of precursor with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

MONROE TWP. — Police are looking for help in identifying the man in this security camera photo.
He’s wanted for questioning in connection with the burglary of a business on Main Street in Williamstown.
The man had a Jansport backpack and was carrying a plastic U.S. Postal Service bin.

GREENWICH TWP. — When police were called to the Gibbstown Shopping Center near Wilson’s Pub on Nov. 27 for a report of a disorderly male causing a disturbance, the man and a woman friend fled, but only after allegedly backing a car into the front glass windows and structure of the Gibbstown Dentistry Office.
The crash reportedly caused severe structural damage, police said.
Tracing the car from identifiers left behind, officers found the vehicle unoccupied in the parking area of the VOA apartment complex, said police.
